VKTRY Insoles feature a patented carbon fiber baseplate, customized based on your sport, gender, age, and weight. The carbon fiber design is engineered to help store the energy you create and then return it to you during push-off — which can help support explosiveness, speed, and vertical movement.

Stock foam insoles, commonly found in many sneakers and cleats, tend to compress under pressure which may result in lost energy. VKTRY’s carbon fiber baseplate is designed to help store and return that energy back to you — which can support energy return, stability, and performance with each step.

Different shoe types fit differently. For example, soccer shoes fit much more tightly than basketball shoes. We accommodate for these differences by having different foam cushions: yellow is 6mm thick, black is 4mm and red is 2mm. Because of this, it may be difficult for an athlete who plays multiple sports to move their VKs from a loose fitting shoe to a tighter fitting shoe.

VKTRY Insoles fit true to size. If you are a size 9 shoe, order a size 9/9.5 insole. VKTRY takes into account that some sports shoes fit more tightly (cleats, spikes). That's why we also ask for the sport you are playing. If any problems with fit once you receive your VKs, simply contact us and we will arrange for a free exchange. We get the size right about 98% of the time!

VKTRY Insoles are designed to be highly customized based not only on shoe size, but also based on sport and body weight. VKs come in 5 levels of flexibility because a bigger athlete needs more spring action than a smaller athlete.

We sell VKTRY Insoles as a pair, one for the left foot and one for the right.

We do not recommend VKs for children under the age of 13 as their feet are still developing. If you have any concerns about your children using VKs, please consult your family physician

VKs come in 5 different Pro Levels. This is the flexibility of the insoles… the strength of the “Spring”. The bigger the athlete, the more spring he or she will need, the higher the Pro Level. VKTRY uses an algorithm to determine the best Pro Level for the athlete so that the insoles deliver the best combination of performance, protection and comfort.

Our insoles are not designed to be used in conjunction with custom orthotics. While results vary, some users have reported feelings more supported while wearing VKTRY Insoles during high-intensity movement. If you are interested, we also offer Custom VKs – custom orthotics with the VKTRY carbon fiber plate built in. Email us to learn more at contact@tryvktryinsoles.com

No, we do not make VKs in different widths or arch types. They have been designed to be arch agnostic and our sizes are very generous in the width. Our VKs fit most foot types and sizes, but if any issues with comfort after trying, please contact us.

We usually recommend going down. The weight level is a big factor in determining the VK’s Pro Level (flexibility). While a higher Pro Level may provide more spring, it’s very important that you are able to comfortably flex your feet for the insoles to be effective.

The different colors correspond to the shoe type & shoe fit. Yellow is our thickest most comfortable top (7mm) and if you play a sport with a non-cleated shoe, you will receive this top. Black is slightly thinner (5mm) and designed for cleated shoes. Red is our thinnest top (3mm) used for tight fitting shoes (soccer and track).

Usage & Care

Please ensure your VKTRY Insoles are the correct fit for your shoes. You can measure the existing insoles from toe to heel and match up to our size chart for the perfect fit. If you install your insoles and notice the edges are curling upwards, they are too big--reach out to customer support (contact@tryvktryinsoles.com) to facilitate an exchange. VKs that are too big will not provide the proper benefits, in addition they could cause unusual wear to both the insole and/or the shoe.

Yes, if they are the same shoe type. In other words, if you bought VKs for a cleated shoe, it's ok to move them to another cleated shoe. If you bought VKs for a non-cleated shoe, you can move them to another non-cleated shoe. We do not recommend moving VKs from a cleated shoe to a non-cleated shoe or vice versa.

If they are sewn into the shoes or glued down tight and you do not want to risk ruining the foam insoles from the factory, you can simply place the VKTRY Insoles on top. It is important to note, however, that this will make your feet sit higher in the shoes and may impact comfort. For more information, click here.

Most insoles do come out. If they do are not easily removable, they are likely glued down. In most cases you can remove them by slowly peeling them out from the heel. If you are unable to remove them, you can place your VKTRY Insoles on top of the existing insoles, but this may affect comfort. For more information, THIS PAGE.

Yes, to have the space needed for the VKs and your feet to fit comfortably inside your shoes, we recommend you remove the existing insoles. If your shoes have glued-in insoles that cannot be removed, you can place the VKTRY Insoles on top, but this may affect comfort. For more information, Click here.

If your VKTRY Insoles get dirty, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or put them in a washing machine or dryer. For more information, Click here.

That depends on a number of factors such as how well you care for them and the type of training you do. Moving your VKs between different pairs of shoes can also impact their lifespan. With proper care, VKTRY Insoles are designed to provide long-lasting performance and support.
